Update on Joseph 03-29-09

It has been a long time since we have posted any updates, but w/Joseph's upcoming surgery we figured the blog might be a good way to keep you all posted on how things are going. Joseph has been home for almost 12 weeks now. He is an incredible, sweet little guy. He walks as fast as his little foot will allow him to. He refers to himself as "Josa and Jo Jo." Joseph's favorite thing to do is to ride up and down our driveway with Hannah in her battery powered gator. Joseph is scheduled for surgery on the 8th of April at Denver Children's Hospital. They will be untethering his spinal cord from a tumor. The CT and MRI have indicated that it is a fatty tumor, so they won't have to remove it all. The doctor expects him to be in the hospital for about a week. We are praying for it to go smoothly and his surgeons to have skill and wisdom.
